The vision of the PIU Graduate School of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) is to become a think-and-do tank bridging academic research findings with tangible innovations that contribute to sustainable development, community empowerment, and knowledge-based economic transformation.

      Mission

1. Developing a synergistic innovation ecosystem between academic research activities, product prototypes, and the commercialization of research findings in various scientific fields.
2. Encouraging a productive and creative academic culture among lecturers, students, and partners so they can innovate, adapt, and create contextual solutions to national and global challenges.
3. Strengthening partnerships with industry, government, and the community through a penta-helix model to support applied innovation, business incubation, and community-based programs.
4. Elevating the values ​​of local wisdom, culture, and regional potential into product innovations, business models, and the development of appropriate technologies relevant to the Indonesian context.
5. Creating an income-generating unit that supports institutional sustainability, including a Graduate School Café, merchandise, certification training, and academic startup incubation.
6. Providing mentoring, competency certification, and professional training for academics and the community to strengthen competitiveness and professionalism.
